Bug Description

I had set up UbuntuOne on my main computer (with Jaunty) about a month ago, and back then it worked fine. My web browser opened with a button to link my computer and my account and then it worked!

However, right now I am trying to set up a different computer which runs Karmic (9.10). The applet seems to bumble aimlessly, claiming to be connected, but definitely not linked to my UbuntuOne account as (even though it says it is up to date) nothing is synchronized.

Running from the terminal, I get the following output:

dmccall@dylan-netbook:~$ ubuntuone-client-applet --auth
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/dbus/connection.py", line 576, in msg_reply_handler

    parameters['oauth_token'] = token.key
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'key'

Note that the applet does not crash, but it looks like it is missing the boat on the oauth thing, which would explain the problems I am having.

Oh, and don't mind the funny --auth command line there. Due to lack of a --help option (but knowing that ubuntuone takes a few command line arguments) I was randomly trying some before I realized that output it kept giving me was actually quite relevant. The output is the important part, and that happens no matter what I tack to the end :)

looks like this may be caused by the domain move. you should update your client and see if this fixes your issue. marking as a dupe of an existing bug. thanks for the report!
