Bug Description
After yesterday's updates to karmic, my machine won't boot. After the usplash screen it show some odd lines randomly across the screen and then shows a blinking cursor. Didn't gain more information when using verbose mode, can't seem to get at GRUB menu. I'm running Nvidia graphics card, GRUB2, Ext4.

Update: Was able to get into GRUB menu, disabled nvidia driver, still no luck. Also tried earlier kernel version and ran fsk. Every time I get the screen with random lines flickering and then just a blinking cursor. Was the login screen recently updated?
