problems when changing desktops

Bug Description
Hello, first of all I would like to thank you by this great application, it
just do it's job silently and efficiently. However I got some problems using
it, these are:
a) when I change desktops the applications that are docked are automatically
minimized to dock.... I couldn't figure out how to turn this off
b) I can only set the applications to automatically open themselves using
kdocker if I put kdocker in front of the 'shortcuts' in kmenu
I'm currently using:
KDE version: 3.5.5
System: Linux
Release: 2.6.17-11-386
Machine: i686
