Bug Description
Binary package hint: kubuntu-
When I enable the snow in the desktop effects and after that the desktop cube, the screen becomes messy showing the twisted kubuntu logo. There`s no way out of there, only switching to console and restart the system. Someone have removed the magic CTRL+ALT+BCKSPACE and seems that I have no other way.
This is the clean Kubuntu Karmic alpha 5 install on my notebook (ASUS A3Fc, Intel Core Solo, GMA950), compositing enabled by default. The desktop cube works ok by itself. The bug repeats after couple of reboots.
What info can I provide on that ?

Hi fl-blade,
Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn` and `dmesg`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this issue. If you're using a custom /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.
