Space allocated for display of document information is not long enough

Bug Description

the Control+I shortcut brings information about the current document.

However, if the path of the document is long, since the information only displays on one line, the full information is not displayed and disappears on the right side of the document. (see screenshot)

Desired behaviour would be to display information on as many lines as needed to display all of the information.

Another possible behaviour would be to display the path on one line (which should then be as long as needed) and all other infos on another.

I agree that file paths should go on their own line.

To further save space, we could trim out some directories from the middle of the path, offering the first and last few bits should be obvious enough.

I just submitted a patch (https://bugs.launchpad.net/pyroom/+bug/490510) That should help with this. It gives you the option to disable the "full path" in the information status bar. That should free up some room for you.
