kdm does not display one of the users

Using Karmic alpha 4 + all updates as of today.

Once the system was installed, KDM did not display the user list at all. After I added one more user, the user list appeared, but it only contained the newly added user, not the user created during the installation.

I can confirm this, though I don't know if this is expected behavior or not. I glanced through the code and nothing stuck out to support my beliefs in it. I will hopefully find out something about this. Thanks!

I don't think it's expected behavior, since previous versions of KDM (e.g. the
one in 8.04) displayed the whole list of users, as specified in the "System
Settings -> Login Manager".

With recent updates, the users in the list have disappeared completely in my setup.

And, a note on possible workaround: if "inverse selection" checkbox is UNCHECKED, the "login manager" configuration works as expected: users checked in the list appear in kdm's list.
