Updating firefox while running lead to unusable firefox

Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
When dpkg updates firefox while it is running afterwards it is nearly unusable. Worst of all - it is no longer capable of saving the open tabs.
If you can't manage it programmatically I'd say rather force the user to close firefox before doing the update.
