Can't edit default and mandatory GConf values

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gconf-editor

Steps to reproduce:
 * run gconf-editor with admin priviles, i.e. sudo gconf-editor (or similar)
 * choose File > New Defaults Window (or Mandatory)

Current result:
 Can't access to any gconf key, the tree on left is closed, clicking on it don't expand
