Bug Description

Binary package hint: gvfs

I use sbuild with schroots and LVM. These volumes show up in the Places area of nautilus. As I have 13 schroots, it forces my bookmarks off screen so that I have to scroll down to see them, which is a usability issue. This has been happening for awhile in karmic, but I'm pretty sure it didn't happen on Jaunty. It seems that maybe logical volumes maybe shouldn't show up automatically? If LVs being displayed is desirable, there should probably be a way to hide them in some way.

The host encrypted volume also shows up in computer:///
With the label: 500 GB Hard Disk: 500 GB LVM2 Physical Volume
Opening this gives the error - as it should: Not a mountable file system
