Bug Description

Package request for iMule

iMule is a filesharing program based an aMule. It uses the Kademlia protocol but unlike other eMule derivatives it runs on top of the anonymous networking layer I2P. For this it can either use the official I2P router of the I2P project or it can use the builtin I2P router that is shipped with iMule.

There already is a Debian package from upstream that runs fine but it would be great to have this program distributed in universe.

Imule doesn't work in Karmic beta, latest updates. You get dependancy problem
imule: error while loading shared libraries: libbfd-2.19.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Probaly needs repack/compiling

This is no substitute for a real package but as a workaround you can just:

cd /usr/lib
sudo rm libbfd-2.19.1.so
sudo ln -s libbfd-2.19.91.20091006.so libbfd-2.19.1.so

libbfd-2.19.1.so is just a link to the real shared object which broke since the real one was renamed.
