Bug Description

First of all, sry for my english, if i wrote things wrong. I'm not a native speaker.

After following the instructions to install UbuntuOne directly from the official website, i never get the chance to add my computer to my UbuntuOne Account now. I guess the installation went right.

The both processes "ubuntuone-syncdaemon" and "ubuntuone-client-applet" are running. I got no error messages. Once i have started the UbuntuOne Client with the terminal and got following output, then i closed the window, because nothing happend further:

:~$ ubuntuone-client-applet
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.6/dbus/connection.py", line 578, in msg_reply_handler
    reply_handler(*message.get_args_list(**get_args_opts))

    parameters['oauth_token'] = token.key
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'key'
:~$

Can this cause the problem?

P.S.: I hope you got the automatical log from apport somehow.

I believe you are not prompted to add your computer because of some changes we made yesterday with domain names. We had to release a fix in the client to resolve this. Can you try doing a check for updates and install the client we released today? Then see if you have the same issue. Thanks! Joshua

I just tried to apt-get update and run the update manager, no updates available.

I've tried killing all instances and running ubuntuone-client-applet --signup from Terminal, I get this error message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.6/dbus/connection.py", line 578, in msg_reply_handler
    reply_handler(*message.get_args_list(**get_args_opts))

I have to Ctrl+C to get past this error.

I've tried logging out and back in, restarting, reinstalling the software, unchecked and rechecked the software source in Software Sources (to force a refresh of the packages); nothing has worked. All I get is the Ubuntu One icon in my system tray, it says it's disconnected, and it doesn't launch the website.

I'm running Firefox 3.5.3 as my default browser (previously Chrome was my default). I would like to try this software out and compare it to Dropbox ... mostly because it's so darn difficult to install in Ubuntu ... but this is looking to be more of a pain than Dropbox at the moment.
