Ubuntu One client can't load, displays fatal error

Each time ubuntu one client loads, the connection established successfully but after short period of time fatal error icon is displayed and applet becomes unusable.

If I restart the applet it start ok at first but the error comes back shortly. I can see then the following in the syncdeamon.log:
