Can't create mySQL table from table designer

Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I'm connecting to mySQL 5.0.75 using JDBC mysql-connector-java-5.1.8-bin.jar. When creating a new table with "Tabellen" -> "Tabelle in der Entwurfsansicht erstellen" it won't let me save the table, because the created SQL statement is no valid (see attached screenshot). There is also no option to show the SQL statement - which would help a lot in finding the error.

Best,

Martin.

Do you still have this issue with the new version in Ubuntu 9.04 with the ppa at https://launchpad.net/~openoffice-pkgs/+archive/ppa or Ubuntu Karmic?

Changed in openoffice.org (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

Unfortunately, yes!

However I found when using the "Assistent" (1rst choice) instead of the
"Design View" (2nd choice) that the error has something to do with the
size attribute. If I set size to a value >0 it won't work. If I set size
to 0 it works. Maybe this helps.

Best,

Martin.

[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.
