Hi all,

We'd like to know whether this is still an issue for you. If so, please can you try with last kernel version, (Lucid upstream) which is located on http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.32/?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I wonder if I can install and test this kernel on a Karmic installation?

Sure,

Just download your .debs, and install them with GDebi. It'll take care of dependencies, of include a new GRUB entry.

After your tests, please, include feedback. You can remove this kernel through Synaptic (starting with other one, of course).

Thanks

It seems to me that the problem has been fixed. The issue didn't occur on every suspend/resume however, so I can't say I'm 100% sure, but it hasn't happened since I installed the new kernel.

Filed a new bug which is probably related (a duplicate?).
