Hi George, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with Ubuntu One. It looks like you probably have an exceptions log file that may help us troubleshoot this issue. Can you please attach the file ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon-exceptions.log? If you don't see that exact file, you may have a syncdaemon-exceptions.log file with a timestamp of 2009-09-08, we can use that one as well (if it's there). Thanks! Joshua

Joshua,

Thanks for your reply. Attached are a number of files from 2009-09-08
and 2009-09-09.
Ubuntu One had been syncing, haven't used it in a couple of weeks.
There were several updates since my last successful use - currently I
cannot connect.
I also have a file in a sub folder on the web interface that has been
deleted from my computer but remains online. The delete function on the
web interface has no effect on this or other files. Select file, click
Delete, confirm - nothing happens.

thanks,
George

Hi George, Thank you for the follow up! This log info helps out a lot. It appears this is a known issue and we have someone working to fix it ASAP. We just released a new client today but I don't think that fix is in there. It won't hurt to try to update, but it's likely going to be at least another day before the fix for this issue gets out there. Thanks, Joshua

Joshua,
Thanks. I just installed the update. I'll give it a try and see how it
goes.
