Can't see message body in mailing list moderation view

Visit https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-users/+mailinglist-moderate and then click the "[...]" link on a message that does not show an excerpt from the message body. I'd expect this to show me the full body of the message. It shows me nothing.

I can see the email body on some messages in the moderation queue. Maybe the Viagra spams are actually empty?

Can you point to the message in the moderation queue that you saw the error?

The messages have no plain/text part (only HTML). Launchpad only stores the plain/text part of the list email because friends do not let friends send HTML email. So only the message header is available

In the case of multipart messages containing non text/plain parts, the moderation interface should at least describe the MIME structure of the message, e.g.

[one text/html part not displayed]
[two image/gif parts not displayed]

etc.

We could do that, but I have done moderation for our lists and not seen a single legitimate empty email. Per bug 498741 for my next comment.
