firefox doesn't honor system proxy settings

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

On my system, running Jaunty, the Firefox setting “use system proxy settings” doesn’t honor the proxy set in gnome-network-properties. I have it set to use “manual proxy configuration”, with a SOCKS proxy at localhost:12345.
