Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I'm experiencing a lot of gaps in music playback from Rhythmbox.
Particularly when switching desktops. It happens for both mp3's and Ogg Vobis files.

Strangely the same files plays without gaps in Banshee.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

are you using the crossfade backend? does it works fine if you disable it?

The crossfade backend is not enabled.

Is there any aditional info I can provide, I miss Rhythmbox.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. If you could test the current Ubuntu development version, this would help us a lot. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs for this particular issue.
