Bug Description

Binary package hint: adobe-flashplugin

When playing Zynga Texas Hold'em Poker on Facebook,
The list of tables canot be viewed, neither in general tables not in Sit-n-Go tables.
The interface is very slow. I had been facing this problem also in Hardy.
If I downgrade the flash plaer plugin to version 9, I can view these lists and can play much better.

Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04

adobe-flashplugin : version 10.0.32.18-1

firefox : version 3.0.13

It seems there are some dupes of this bug:
Bug #446486
Bug #450419
Bug #479312

This bug is probably Ubuntu-specific. There is no problem in displaying list of tables
in Zynga Texas Hold'em Poker on Facebook viewed by:

1. default browser (Fennec?) on Maemo Linux on Nokia N900 (tested),
2. Firefox on OpenSuSE - as claimed at note https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.5/+bug/479312/comments/2

Also, could you try a few other browsers on Ubuntu, like Epiphany and Chromium?

Ok guys, I have tried to use seamonkey for texas holdem on facebook. It works, has zynga live, tables can be seen, challenge area opens fine. mostly it is playable. Although screen starts to blink after notifications start to pop up. So I can confirm it is a firefox and google-chrome browsers bug, they lack something seamonkey has.

I solved this bug by simply selecting the Shockwave Flash plugin to the version 9.0 r999 in the Firefox Tools menu/Add-ons/Plugins. Disabling the 2 other flash versions I have (10.1 r53 and 10.1 r999) and enabling the older version 9.0 r999.

I have not version 9.0 of Flash listed there (I only have 10.0.* one listed)
Where can I get 9.0 one? I am running Jaunty and only 10.* version is available in repo.
