Bug Description

Binary package hint: openssh-server

Running Karmic alpha-4 live CD, used synaptic to install abiword (and dependencies) and openssh-server.

I'm retyping the following from the synaptic terminal window:

Setting up openssh-server (1:5.1p1-6ubuntu1) ...
Can't exec "/usr/bin/chage": Input/output error at /usr/sbin/adduser line 440.
Stopped: `/usr/bin/chage -M 99999 sshd' returned exit code 16777215. Exiting.

Removing user `sshd' ...

It then retries and fails again. I didn't get this with the same procedure with Karmic alpha-5, so it may have been fixed.
