upgrade moblin kernel to 2.6.27-4.9 SSD is not found

I use moblin image creator to create a default MID OS image with kernel 2.6.24.
Now I am upgrading it to kernel 2.6.27-4.9, but when I restart the target device (using SSD) the boot up failed.
message is shown as below:

   Checking device /dev/hda
   Checking device /dev/hdb
   Checking device /dev/sda
   Checking device /dev/sdb

I tried to modify the .config file or download some other drivers, but none worked.
Any advice on why intrepid won't recognize the SSD on my target device?
