Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Evolution doesn't start after launching it.

Calendar applet hangs when clicking on it to view the calendar. Calendar applet also causes the whole panel to hang.

On logging out, the computer asks for options to log out anyway, cancel or lock screen as some programs are still running. These are the programs:

* Panel
(Not responding)

* Evolution Alarm Notifier
(Not responding)

I expected the calendar to show after clicking calendar-applet on the panel. I expected Evolution to show its windows, but it didn't. These happened after a recent update, approximately 2 to 3 weeks ago; I don't exactly remember when.

Package name and version:
* evolution: 2.26.1-0ubuntu2

Please note that evolution is actually in use; I set up my e-mail accounts on it: 3 IMAPS and one Microsoft Exchange. I also set the location for the calendar-applet for the weather information. However, I chose not to show the weather information on calendar-applet.

If evolution is not used at all, and the location for weather information is not set, the calendar-applet works fine.
