Although the Application Crashed dialogue appeared, rather strangely, Gwibber continued to run the background.

Can any of you please confirm this bug is still an issue in the latest version of gwibber (2.0.0~bzr476-0ubuntu3). According to the date of the latest reports it is bu I'd like that confirmed.
Thanks

I've been using Gwibber all morning, and it seems to be fine. I've
added a second Twitter account, and it seems to be in my list.

The error page shows a lot of these messages, though:

HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized
private failed with HTTPError on twitter 20 seconds ago

HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized
responses failed with HTTPError on twitter 20 seconds ago

HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized
receive failed with HTTPError on twitter 21 seconds ago

HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized
responses failed with HTTPError on twitter 5 minutes ago

HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized
private failed with HTTPError on twitter 5 minutes ago

...and I'm not seeing any messages in either Twitter account.

Many thanx to the team!

Gwibber is spontaneously crashing on me with this error after I've upgraded to Karmic Koala 9.10. It occurred moments after I had added a Twitter account. This may or may not be related.

The version I'm running is 2.0.0~bzr476-0ubuntu3. See Comment #5.

Thanks for taking time to report this bug and help make ubuntu better. This bug was reported a while ago and there has been no activity in for a few months. If you still face this can you please try to update to the development release of gwibber from this ppa https://launchpad.net/~gwibber-daily/+archive/ppa and check if this is still an issue. That will be really helpful. Thanks
