Bug Description

Binary package hint: x11-xserver-utils

runing "systemtest" xserver reports 1400x1400 as maximum resolution. Maybe this is only a typo.
I'm not sure if "systemtest" added all details. If not drop me a message.

Sorry, system testing does not include sufficient information to diagnose X bugs. Instead, file it using ubuntu-bug xorg, and please be as descriptive as possible.

How can i add the output from ubuntu-bug to this report? I copy 'n pasted the title/description and he askes me:
"Is "reporting 1400x1400 as maximum resolution" one of these bugs?" but this one dosent shows up. Thought this was about the status invalid but changing dosen't find my bug anyway :-(
Most userfriendly would be: ubuntu-bug xorg -add <bugno> or an option in the webinterface: This are additional informations. Add to bug <bugno>

the xrandr output clearly shows 1400x1050 as the max resolution, no idea why it shows it as 1400x1400.

affects: x11-xserver-utils (Ubuntu) → checkbox (Ubuntu)

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Ubuntu 9.10 reached EOL on April 30th, 2011.
Please see this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.

I will close this bug now. If you are able to reproduce it with a current supported version of Ubuntu, please, create a new one typing "ubuntu-bug checkbox" on a terminal.

Thanks!
