Booted to lucid, started synaptic, then noticed this crash icon in systray. Not sure when it appeared.

Ditto here ! Used Synaptic in Lucid and the crash icon appeared.

installed gmusicbrowser from their website because in the repo is only an older one.

after install i quit gdebi. the icon of updates stayed gray in the panel. a click on it opened synaptic. i think at that time apport reported the crash.
