Bug Description

After upgrading from jaunty to karmic, my Swiss French keyboard layout is reset to Swiss (no variant) keyboard which is wrong.
Every time I boot I have to go to keyboard settings in GNOME ,then go to layout and click on the "reset default values" (which puts back the french variant) and my keyboard works right.
