Bug Description
Hi,
I hope you can help with this because the package IRM might be in universe.
Anyway when I try apt-get install or via Synaptic to install irm and type in the passwords after it downloads, it bombs out with error. I've tried dpkg-reconfigure and other things. It says it can't connect to database or something.

Thanks for the bug report. howver the package installation works fine.
Debconf ask you a working mysql server, a mysql user and the corresponding password.
If the mysql server configuration is wrong, or if you supply bad informations to debconf, you will have an error like this:
There was an error creating the MySQL database: Error when trying to connect to the mysql database.
This error can occur if you have no database to connect to, or
if the password was incorrect.
use: dpkg-reconfigure -plow packagename to reconfigure.
Are you sure to have a working mysql server ? have you tried to connect to it using a mysql client ?
