Bug Description

Hi i tried to run cedega games but the games won't run because the fglrx driver gives errors.

cedega output:
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 144 (ATIFGLRXDRI)
Minor opcode of failed request: 1 ()
  Value in failed request: 0x4a00005
Serial number of failed request: 1126
Current serial number in output stream: 1126

output of fglrxinfo:
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: MOBILITY RADEON 9700 Generic
OpenGL version string: 2.0.5755 (8.24.8)

In the Xorg.log there is a line which says that the fglrx driver only supports Xorg 6.8 and dapper is using 7.0 so maybe thats the problem.

Hi, I think it's the same problem of Bug #47490.
I can still use fglrx driver to use gnome & etc, but not to use for 3D-required programs. Is this the same case for you?

Not entirely,

I can use blender but with cedega most games crash because of troubles
with fglrx.

Does the output of glxgears, or fgl_glxgears toss you a ton of FGLRX errors?

I was having issues with my Mobility 9000 in that front had to revert the driver to the last release.

I bet this is fixed in a later release.
