Bug Description

Menu entry (gnome-commander.desktop) is broken in 1.1.7 version.
Now it contains lines _Name and _Comment instead of Name and Comment
Icon entry is also broken - it should contain full path:

Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/gnome-commander/gnome-commander.png

(maybe it would be better to move gnome-commander.png file directly to /usr/share/pixmaps/ and then Icon line will be Icon=gnome-commander.png )

Maybe http://download.gnome.org/sources/gnome-commander/1.2/ fixes that.

Menu entry (gnome-commander.desktop) bug is related to upstream bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333898 and is partially fixed in 1.2 upstream version (complete fix is available in 1.2.1).

Fixed packages for Ubuntu 6.06/Baltix 2.0.x are available at Baltix GNU/Linux repository:

ftp.akl.lt/Linux/Baltix/Baltix-Ubuntu_packages/dapper/gnome-commander/

The fix is released in at least the current hardy version (1.2.5-1)
