Bug Description

Since I'm using ubuntu (feisty) I meet this problem about video

When I look at a film where the action is intense, wherever the images succeed one another at a brisk pace, a defect occurs.

It also appears when I treat(manipulate) with high-speed a window

I had this problem with 3 PC and 2 laptop (acer 5310 and compaq presario)
I send you 2 screenshot of the problem

Thanks for taking the time to submit this report. You are currently using an outdated version of Ubuntu (Feisty) that is no longer supported. It is strongly recommended to upgrade to Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) and test again if the problem is still there.

I am going to set this bug as Incomplete, for now. Please report here if the upgrade will either fix it or not, in which case the bug can be either closed or reexamined.

Thanks in advance.

No, I cannot reproduce in any of my machines.

Please attach your X server configuration file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) and X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.0.log) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the "Attachment:" box below. Could you please also try to run without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf and let Xorg autodetect your display and video card? When you do please also attach the /var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt. Thanks in advance.

Hi Rudy85,

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? (ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/)

If it remains an issue, could you also attach a new /var/log/Xorg.0.log?
Thanks in advance.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
