Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdegraphics
From Wikipedia:
"EPUB (electronic publication) is an e-book standard, by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF), which consists of three file format standards (files have the extension .epub), described below. It supersedes the Open eBook standard."
EPUB is used every day more and more to distribute digital books, not being able to read this widespread and popular format in Kubuntu is bad.
The other bug 345672 is already "fixed" so I open a new one to really fix it this time before Karmic is released.

In order to have this, we would need ebook-tools package to be accepted to main repository, therefore it needs MIR. Since we are past FeatureFreeze for Karmic, this might be even harder to achieve.
