Upgrading this package again fixes the problem for me.

It happened to all computers that run karmic and I removed this package. Should I reinstall to check?

I removed the package, and then installed it again, and the problem disappeared. I think that's the solution

This is a minor inconvenience to me. When it gets fixed, I assume there will be a regular update.
