Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org-gtk
Using Karmic 32-bit with openoffice 3.1.1 OOO310m19 build 9420.
Documents opened from openoffice native 'recent documents' list are not added to the gnome 'recent documents' list
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open an openoffice document and close it.
2. Open 10 non-openoffice documents, such as media clips or text files, so the gnome 'recent documents' list if filled with them.
3. Open oopenoffice and use file->recent documents menu to re-open the openoffice document from step 1 and close it.
Expected results:
The openoffice document will be added to the gnome 'recent documents' list.
Actual results:
The openoffice document is not added to the gnome 'recent documents' list.
This bug actually renders the gnome 'recent documents' list quite useless for me, as I cannot be sure my documents will actually appear in it.
I can confirm this bug.
The correct behaviour can be observed with gedit for example : opening a document from its recent list pushes it to gnome recent documents list.
