Bug Description

Binary package hint: usb-creator

usb-creator has many issues in karmic which may have caused this crash. While apport reported the crash, the usb-creator window is still open at the "Starting up..." stage, making me thing that it is a subprocess which has crashed. Clicking cancel will quit the program.

I have noticed the following concerning usb-creator in karmic:
- usb-creator does not recognize an unformatted usb disk.
- When browsing for an image the cancel button does not work.
- User must select the already selected usb device in the "Device to use" section.
