Bug Description

Binary package hint: kopete

Current issues:
1. No systray icon.
2. Empty history
3. Inability to log in to gadu-gadu network (no errors)
4. Gadu gadu account removed from my identity
It was working fine for almost whole karmic developement cycle, something must have broken recently.

I confirm this.
Empty history in jabber, no sytray icon. I don't use Gadu Gadu, though.

However, also Pidgin has no systray icon if ran in KDE4. So maybe this can be bug in plasma systray applet.

Protocol - yahoo:
I had contact icons in Jaunty, but I can no longer see my buddies' icons in Karmic.
I created a fresh account, since I renamed my .kde folder because I cannot logout or shutdown, as suggested here:

Still an issue in Lucid or Maverick? It seems fixed here.
