Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
I am using Blackboard learning system. Enabling 'HTML creator' (a Java applet) consistently causes Firefox to hang and the PC to report100% utilisation (about 75% in firefox, 10% in Java, and the rest in Gnome).
I believe the problem to be in either the Tor button add on or Zotero (more likely Tor) or possibly in recent changes to the Gnome add in for Firefox clashing with one of these, based on the timeing of the appearance of this error.
I have currently disabled all three add-ns (but not Gnome add in), and the Java applet loads smoothly.
No time right now to do more investigation.
