Cultivation white noise

Binary package hint: cultivation

When I start cultivation on a amd64 machine it produces white noise.
I tried to start with "aoss cultivation", "aoss linux32 cultivation", but I get the same white noise.
There's no console output.

Hi,
i have installed a karmic package on (my) intrepid and it worked.
the package: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/amd64/libportaudio0/18.1-7.1

Should I compile the source code on my machine?

Not a bug in cultivation, but in libportaudio. Fixed already.
