Bug Description

Running LottaNZB 0.5 Beta. I have several items in my queue. 5 of them are complete. When I click and drag an incomplete item to change the priority, instead of the item ending up where it should be in the queue, it ends up 5 items below where I selected. I haven't looked at the code, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the 5 completed items in my queue not being counted properly. I'm new to hellanzb and lottanzb, but there doesn't seem to be any way to clear or move the completed items, so I cannot confirm that their existence causes the problem.

Hi Scott,

thanks for reporting this issue. I'll try to reproduce it later today. As a matter of fact, you _can_ clear the completed downloads by clicking on the "Clear finished" toolbar button, but you aren't be the first one to overlook it.

Regards,
Severin

Just gave it a try. There is indeed something wrong with the drag&drop code. This will need to be fixed before the 0.5 release.

Thanks for the reply. I see the "Clear Completed" button now. As a matter of fact, I saw it before, but the problem was, LottaNZB does not show tooltips when you hover over a toolbar button, and I didn't know what it did. I was assuming that it would clear everything. In order to save screen real estate, my GTK settings are set to show "Text beside items". In this mode, the text is shown next to the toolbar buttons for some items (not sure how this is specified, but seems to be application specific) and completely hidden on other items. In LottaNZB, all the toolbar buttons have no text. This is OK, because I normally rely on the tooltips to tell me what the button does if I do not know.

Back on topic, though, I have confirmed that after I clear the completed items, the drag and drop support seems to work properly.

I guess regarding the missing tooltips, one could open another bug report or create a blueprint. Thanks for reminding me.
