Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

1. I'm using Mandriva 2009.1 atm, but I want to install Ubuntu 9.04 on the side so that I can use both distros.
2. 9.04
3. I expected to be able to change the /-partition to install Ubuntu on the side.
4. I was told to change the size of my /-partition to 452363574675.

I think we'll need to see the log files in order to establish exactly what was going on here. Could you please attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to this bug, following the directions in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs? If necessary, reproduce the bug first. Thanks in advance.

I tried to upload syslog, but it was empty. I'll try to upload partman.
