After a clean install of Xubuntu 9.04, got this error when upgrading the system files

Thank you for helping Ubuntu better reporting this bug.

Your Dpkg log says:

run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/header_postinst.d/nvidia-common
debconf: DbDriver "config": /var/cache/debconf/config.dat is locked by another process: Risorsa temporaneamente non disponibile

This seems to be an issue with a blocking library and looks to be a duplicate of bug 349649 so I am marking it as such. Please continue to track this issue at that report. Thanks!
