Bug Description

My Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop has unstable suspend-to-ram. If I suspend it and immeadiately wake it, it's fine. But if I let it sleep for a bit and then resume, problems occur. The screen stays black. Sometimes, I can bring X back by hitting <ctrl><alt><backspace> or by switching to a console (which doesn't appear) and then back to X. If I get X back, the volume is muted and my computer doesn't recognizing my network cards. I can then restore volume, but any attempt to open network-manager or Network Moniter gives me an error. If I reboot to fix it, the computer hangs, and sometimes the screen goes wonky, displaying vertical green lines on the bottom half and horizontal red lines on the top half.
