I can confirm that this is somehow connected to tracker, as after installing it the crashes (not only vwWare, but also pdf2txt and odf indexer) are happening frequently.

It seems I am afected with this bug. It looks like the bug appears after I change the /tmp folder settings. I added the following line in /etc/fstab
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults,noatime,mode=1777 0 0

Before that the tracker works ok.

After that a got message that the index is corrupted and reindexing was started. But it loops with the corrupted index and reindexing.
