Downloads do not complete

Bug Description

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

When downloading files they reach 100% then just sit indefinitlely in the download manager without completing and without the file being created. It has been doing this for a while now but did not always do this. I am using Ubuntu 9.04

Thanks for the report, does that happens with *all* the files you're trying to download? where are you trying to save those? could you please run epiphany from the command line , try to save a file and paste the output if there's any there? Thanks.

Hi,
This happens with any file I try to download.
I am saving to the Desktop
I have run from the command line (just by typing epiphany in a terminal) and I get no output to the terminal when I try to save the file.

This issue has sat with a status of 'Incomplete' for over 13 years without any response to comment #3 so it is being closed as 'Invalid'.

Please feel free to re-open this bug report if this is still an issue when using a currently supported release of Ubuntu but please tell us with which release of Ubuntu you still experience this issue.

Better still opening a new bug report using the terminal command

  ubuntu-bug epiphany-browser

would be preferable, thanks.
