Bug Description
Issue 1) The check box turns white when mouse over (feature?)
Issue 2) If Stereo is active and mouse over Mirrored image the top of the Stereo "active" box is hidden

Issue 1 is probably a feature in Ubuntu layout.
Issue 2 sounds like a focus problem, focus is set on the last clicked object. If focus is removed from clicked checkbox it will solve the problem.
