USB Startup Disk Creator, GUI Error and Doesnt Boot

The first error is the simple GUI error, which says 100%, but the progress bar is still not 100%, and time shows about 59s. (See the image)

Second issue is that the USB created by the application doesnt boot. ( PS: I was trying to write UNR daily ISO.)

In the future please file separate issues as separate bugs. Launchpad does not provide an easy way to break a single bug into multiple ones.

Can you please try with usb-creator 0.2.5? Some lost code to properly set the boot flag on the partition and write an additional bit of boot code to the MBR was re-added in that release. Let me know via this bug if that fixes the issue for you.

I have the same issue with two different Corsair Flash Voyager thumb drives on two different computers using Ubuntu 10.04. The computer obviously can see the thumb drive at the boot (so the BIOS settings are correct), but the screen stays black for the preset time, and then the computer boots from the hard drive. I'm using usb-creator version 0.2.22
