no download email inbox

all configuration in the account seems good.
The message "check incoming" works fine with imap or pop configuration.

But i can't receive email inbox.

The 'Check Incoming ..' only checks the server connectivity and your credentials by logging in.

1.The mail may not be downloaded because you have not selected folder in IMAP.
2.Also in services like gmail you have to enable POP/IMAP for all mail to download emails.

All errors are logged in the logger. So errors/progress can be seen in the terminal screen where you started Open ERP server. Currently most bugs are just logged and not shown to the user.

Can you confirm above?

I have made some modification in powermail_core.py and tested it with several mail providers.
For your information, i'm located in France and the first error was utf-8
Second error seems linked that your module can't detect special character for
inbox repository.

In my latest topic, the second error is given by the server (5.0.2) not by your module :
"
Imap server folder error.
An error occured : 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'groups'
"

Hello Sharoon,

I've tried several methods.
The latest i tried is with a gmail account and imap actived.

For information, i can read my mail inbox with thunderbird imap reading.
I can't with poweremail.
I'm sad :-(
Maybe, i made a mistake but i don't see where.
Sending and the crown in admin menu are ok.

A send/receive button has been added too for receiving mails & sending mails without waiting for the automatic scheduler.
