KPackageKit doesn't work on Kubuntu Karmic

KPackageKit on Kubuntu Karmic fails almost on anything, getting updates or searching for packages at least. I get error:

If I click on Software Source I get message "No such file or directory". With Apport? icon on the dialog...

Also, I recently did the update from Jaunty with "do-dist-upgrade" or similar command. I don't remember KPackageKit working since. If that helps.

Same bug on my recent Kubuntu Alpha 4 installation. KPackageKit internal system error after updating the fresh install.
