Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-
Attached is a set of rules for logcheck that enables it to filter boring messages from network-
I didn't bother splitting the rules up and making an /etc/logcheck/
I am currently using these rules to reduce the amount of noise logcheck sends me from my laptop. While there surely is room for improvement, the rules seem to be doing their job pretty well.
Please note the rule set sent to Launchpad includes an Ubuntu-specific line (yeah, it's the one where the logs refer to launchpad bug #191889). I'm also sending a version of this to Debian GNU/Linux for review but, naturally, I'll be excluding that line.
Please consider this for inclusion. Thanks.
Regards,
Stefan Kangas
