Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
In Karmic , when firefox is running for *several hours* the cursor movement becomes sluggish.
as in > when the cursor is moved with the arrow keys pressed [key press repeat enabled]
- the cursor stops , as if the cursor got stuck because firefox is not responding , and then appears at the new location.
- when actually it is just not displayed during the movement.
This does not happen when firefox is started fresh. it only happens when firefox has been running for several hours [in my case i keep firefox running always and only close it when i notice such behavior.]
This is a regression and did not occur with firefox 3.0
This may be related to Bug #413950 and the upstream bug > https:/
Or to the firefox behavior of hogging memory , but this did not happen in previous versions where even when memory usage increased, over long hours of use, the cursor did not show such behavior.
