Bug Description
When I attempted to upgrade my Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid 64) system today, it seemed that the kernel failed to configure.
sudo dpkg --configure -a
produced the following error message:
-------

Is there a line missing at the top of this file?? Perhaps it should have the following inserted at the first line??

Hi,
Examining your DepkgTerminalLo g.txt I notice the following: postinst. d/nvidia- common exited with return code 10 postinst. d at /var/lib/ dpkg/info/ linux-image- 2.6.27- 14-generic. postinst line 1002.

This seems to be an issue with nvidia-common and looks to be a duplicate of bug 331675 so I am marking it as such. Please continue to track this issue at that report. Thanks!
